Hi all, a murican is here. In murica, we heat water right in our houses. I've heard that russians boil water literally MILES away from their houses and then transfer it over pipes. Is this true? This sounds really stupid for me, because pipes take up space, water is cooling while it's transferred and last but not least it could leak. Are russians that retarded to waste so much space and energy?
>>33887855 >Of course it s a lie What does then https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avtovo_CHP-15 mean by "provides thermal energy" ("Avtovo CHP-15 provides electric and thermal energy to the Admiralteisky, Moskovsky, Kirovsky and Krasnoselsky Districts of St. Petersburg.")?

Америкосу отключили горячую воду? Он нищий ниггер?
>>33887841 (OP) Same is done in cities in Germany (russkies stole technology from us). The heating and hot water are often provided by a local BHKW (Blockheizkraftwerk) + electricity. This increases the efficiency, as the heat would be otherwise a waste product of electricity production. In-house gas or electric boilers are used in rural areas or when your house is so old it doesn't have a hot water connection.
>>33887841 (OP) well, there is always a burning perdak far far away that has got to be used, otherwise it would it a waste of all that perdak energy. we're all about that green perdak power used for some civilian benefit. so we use cuckhol's perdaks to heat our water. it's like geothermal shit they use in iceland.. only we use burning perdaks. i hope that cleared up the logic behind our water heating scheme for you
You are an uneducated idiot. On the contrary, the central heating system saves fuel at power plants, as part of the heat for heating water cannot be used to generate electricity. In american power plants, it simply LOST.

I very much doubt that all the heat produced is used for heating. What happens to it when the demand for hot water is low (in summer, at nights)?
>>33887841 (OP) >This sounds really stupid for me Попался, руснявенький. Должно быть sounds to me.
>>33887841 (OP) >water is cooling is being cooled or is cooled or is cooled down.
>>33887841 (OP) >Are russians that retarded to waste so much space and energy? Yes they are.
Самое интересное, что когда кто-то пишет безупречно и почти наверняка из США, то аноны его обвиняют в том что он тролль. А когда появляется четкий тролль не могущий в английский, все ведутся.
Быдломуриканцы не используют запятые от слова совсем. А высокообразованные муриканцы не используют таких не эффективных конструкций типа "water is cooling while it's transferred"
>>33887841 (OP) There is a reason behind that. There's should be always one, mind that. Russia's got some cheap coil. I mean it really cheap. So this way it is more reasonable to overpay for coil to use less human resources. It also dramatically increase the safety of the objects.
> 1950s, the country is rebuilding itself after WWII > There is no massive oil and natural gas developed yet. > A Coal Electricity plant produces massive amount of waste heat. So, why not utilize the waste heat ? In Russia people need to heat their homes for 8 month anyway. USA is very different country with subtropical climate and excess natural resources. Were always rich, never was ravaged by war. So you could afford building gas pipelines to every household or just waste 30-40% of power made by burning stuff. Problem is, that now, while sub-20ft container size gas powered co-generation power plants are available to install in apartment building, a developer would need to spend extra for the equipment and lube up before getting fucked in the ass by various "regulators". And in same time, old soviet pipes are already there.
>>33887841 (OP) Хех, самое интересное, что я жива в Сталину в Эстонии не сталкивался с такой хуитой как отключение горячей воды, сейчас живу в новом доме и такой хуйни тоже нет.
