У меня, кстати, два одногрупника и как раз работали в IT, один тоже в вебе другой вроде что-то проект-менеджера, первый мне и помог втянуться.

Вот как раз уйти во фриланс на апворк очень бы и хотел, но пока я не особо уверен в своих скиллах.

Вообще, на моей специальности больше математики, чем программирования. Хочу в разработку мобильных приложений, пока только на андроид мечу. Фрилансить на апворке хотелось бы, но я слаб в английском, да и навыки программирования низки, всё это нужно прокачивать.
А ты конкретно что делаешь? Как в команду вписался? На образование всем пофиг? В какую сторону планируешь расти: оставаться в вебе или перекатываться во что-нибудь другое?

Я конкретно отвечаю за вёрстку, но в том числе пишу на JS, так что практически полноценный front-end. В команду порекомендовал одногрупник, он близкий друг ондного из моих коллег. Так что повезло.
По крайней мере в вебе на образование всем пофиг точно. Пока в веб.
Вообще идеальный план такой: фриланс на апворке -> на заработанные деньги придумываю и создаю какой-нибудь сервис -> он становится популярным -> счастливая и богатая жизнь. Но это конечно, шуточки. в реале я сижу до пяти утра в каком-то мутном треде анона прикрывающегося тянкой, которая пытается выучить русский. Ну ты понел.
математика - норм, лишней точно не будет. вообще не тяни с поиском работы, так и оставшееся время учёбы пролетит быстрее. вообще эта сфера хорошая, очень прибыльная.
