Hey guys! I often encounter strange word in our /int which you guys really love to use. It's "pidoraha" or "pidaraha". I didn't get it. Seems you call each other this way. But some in some threads you also apply this word to other nations. Is pidoraha stands for something like human-being? And what the difference between human-being and pidoraha-being?

I'd asked in /b and /int, but /b sent me here. So... explain!

Pidoraha is distorted "pidorashka". Pidorashka is derogatory term marking a bearer of Russian mentality. Pidorashka means somebody who exhibits typical Russian negative traits, such as being ignorant, intolerant to others, aggressive, valuing "ponyatiya" (prison code of honour) above laws, trusting everything on the TV, and others. Every Russian person can have these, so we must constantly fight and subdue our inner pidorashka if we don't want to become one.
Inhabitants of other countries that are culturally close to Russia (like Ukraine, Belarus and Serbia) can also have these qualities, but we use other creative derogatory words for them instead of pidorashka.
