Аналогично с окончанием -er. Decembre.
Велик соблазн писать после всех согласных на конце слов немую e, как во времена Шекспира. Разумеется, с удвоением согласной (как минимум чтобы различать notte и note). Исключение для буквосочетаний (brush).
